• 4½ oz baby spinach
• 1 small green apple
• 1 piece ginger
• ½ banana
• 1 unwaxed lime
• 17 fl oz apple juice
• 1–2 tablespoons agave syrup
• 4 celery stalks with greenery

Green spinach and apple ginger smoothie


1. Prepare the spinach, then wash and drain. Wash the apples, cut into quarters, remove the seeds and cut into pieces. Peel the ginger and finely chop. Peel and cut half a banana into slices. Wash the lime in hot water, dry and grate the peel finely. Juice the lime.

2. Put the apple pieces, ginger, spinach, lime juice (and peel), banana slices, apple juice and agave nectar into a blender and puree. Pour into glasses and serve with celery sticks.
