Villeroy & Boch recalls Bamboo Placemats in dark green and brown
Dear customers,
Safety and quality are important aspects of our corporate philosophy.
Unfortunately, some placemats from our Essentials Bamboo Placemats collection do not meet these standards.
During regular internal quality tests, the amount of azo dyes found in the Essentials Bamboo Placemats in dark green and brown exceeded the legal limit.
We are recalling the products as a precaution and in the interest of consumer protection.
Villeroy & Boch urges you to stop using the products affected with immediate effect and to return them without delay.
The following placements are affected:
Villeroy & Boch Essentials Bamboo Placemats
- Colour: dark green, brown
- Size: 33 cm x 48 cm
- Sales period: until March 2021
- Material: bamboo and cotton
The Essentials Bamboo Placemats are easy to identify by the fabric labels with the Villeroy & Boch logo.
Return and refund
To return your products please send an e-mail to [email protected] indicating the following information:
- Your full postal address.
- Please write the item number of your product(s) in the subject line:
- Dark green: 35-9040-0005
- Brown: 35-9040-0009
- We will then email you the documents for a free return.
We will quickly refund your purchase price once the placemats have arrived in our central warehouse and your return has been processed.
